The 2018 Pekan Raya Indonesia (Indonesian Fair) is slated to run from Sept. 27 to Oct. 7 at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) in BSD, Tangerang.

Kompas.com reported that this year, th e organizer will team up with Clothfest, a bimonthly exhibition and bazaar that promotes the local creative industry, to showcase around 80 local brands, featuring merchandise, distribution outlets and more.

PT Indonesia International Expo president director Ryan Adrian said the collaboration aimed to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) understand consumer interests and prepare them for business challenges.

In addition to the partnership with Clothfest, the 2018 fair will also feature MAPClub Big Bazaar by lifestyle retailer Mitra Adi Perkasa.

The bazaar is set to feature 60 international brands.

MAPClub COO Marcella Dewi said visitors could enter the bazaar area by showing their MAPClub digital card, Mandiri debit or credit card.

“In terms of brands, it will be the most complete [MAP bazaar],” said Marcella, adding that they would also offer discounts of up to 9 0 percent.

The fair will also feature the Sriwijaya Travel Fair, which offers music performances by Barasuara, Sore and Danilla, among others.
